My Passion for Life-Long Learning

In case some of you missed this blog, I wanted to share it again with some updates.

My Passion for Life-long Learning

Recently, I was talking to a 40-something woman who said she wanted to be me when she grows up. I said “Well, lots of luck, because I still don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. I guess at 77, I should soon decide.”

As you know, I am passionate about life-long learning. If you’ve been wondering why you haven’t received any invitations from me for webinars lately, it’s because I am so dedicated to the learning process that I took the past few months to build a much more powerful delivery system. You will soon be getting an invitation to my new Learn with Linda online training series, the first of which will be held in April. The new features will allow you to choose a time from among four different days and times for each webinar.

Also, I will be introducing some special offers to attendees at Learn with Linda including one I’m really looking forward to—Live with Linda, which will be one-hour group coaching session held every month. You’ll be hearing more about that during Learn with Linda.

And, just in case you think I’ve been slacking off—Joanne Oppelt and I have produced two books in our Quick Guide Series, already this year. In January we released How to Find New Donors and Get Them to Keep Giving https://amzn.to/383ceQm , and earlier this week we released How to Advance in Your Fundraising Career https://amzn.to/2OukzVx . And, guess what, we have four more manuscripts in the process of editing and layout, so you’ll be hearing more about those soon. In fact, if you attend Learn with Linda, you can actually get a free eBook! In the book, How to Advance in Your Fundraising Career, we talk about life-long learning and how important it is.

And just so you don’t think I am one of those “Do as I say, not as I do” people, I am practicing life-long learning myself.

Some of you know I have expanded my writing some fiction works and books not relating to the nonprofit world. I already have available on Amazon, The Matriarch, The Face of Jesus and The Face of Jesus Study Guide, and recently released Beyond Las Vegas: Road Trips from A to Z. In my “spare time” I am reading the Quran, to learn about Islam, I recently read a book The Bristlecone Pines to learn more about my favorite trees, and am reading a book on near-death experiences, God’s Heavenly Answers. And I soon will be releasing another book and study guide called See This Christ, based on a poem I wrote more than forty years ago. (Talk about life-long learning—it took me a while to decide it was time to expand the poem into a book.) So, watch for more news on this too! Oh, and as soon as it is safe to travel again, I will be working on volume two of Beyond Las Vegas: Road Trips from A to Z.

Update: Watch for your invitation to my first Learn with Linda session What Fundraiser Frannie Learned About the Seven Pillars of Success to arrive in about three weeks!
