Attention Bible Study and Book Club Groups

Updated: Aug 10, 2019

If you’re looking for a thought provoking book for your group to discuss, I recently released The Face of Jesus and The Face of Jesus Study Guide to be used with group discussion. If your group is interested, both books are available of Amazon. Book: https://amzn.to/2KdYgib Workbook: https://amzn.to/2jVT3jL

Here is a sample of the discussion group questions. It is an eight-week program based on the Face of Jesus book.

After reading The Face of Jesus, what insights did you gain?

Answer these questions:

  1. Which character in the birth narratives or the baptism of Jesus do you most relate with? (It doesn’t have to be a character mentioned in the book) Why?

  2. Did you ever find yourself in the position, as the angel of God was in the book, of not knowing what to do with God’s sheep? What did you do?

  3. Have you ever been, like John the Baptist, surprised at what God seems to be asking you to do? Did you find it difficult? Did you do what you were asked?

To prepare for next week:

  1. Read one of the birth narratives in the Bible and see if you have a different perspective on the story than you had before.

  2. Read chapters Four, Twelve, and Fourteen.

  3. Look for the Face of Jesus in the young people you encounter this week.
